INTRODUCTION (you don't have to read this bit...)

Nobody growing up in the 80's (the 1980's at any rate) could fail to have been aware of the range of "Choose your own Adventure" style books that grew from the fantasy roleplay craze. Obviously some of you are sitting there shaking your heads and wondering what I am wittering on about; basically they were fairly standard chopping-nasty-monsters-into-bits-with-a-large-sword tales, but with the added interest that you, the reader, chose how the story developed. Do you attack the 100ft fire-breathing robot or do you struggle to contain your bowels and run away?

Nowadays people seem to prefer a bit more realism, hence "Fantasy Football" etc...but nonetheless such escapism is still a very popular leisure activity.
This is turning into an essay.

At this point I'm sure many of you are sat there thinking "Why has there not been a 'choose-your-fate' story I can really relate to?"...or maybe you aren't. Regardless, although no-one (as far as I know) has expressed the desire, you KNOW you want it. The world needs it.
...And luckily here we are to provide*FANTASY BRASS*

This is an ambitious idea, granted, and as it takes shape (or not as the case may be) we will see whether it works or not. The idea is to add a little to the story every so often, in the hope that there will always be a continuing storyline (at least for those who are interested enough to keep reading, and for those whose adventures in brass-land aren't cut short a couple of pages in by an ill-judged decision...).

Okay, before you begin you're going to need a scarp, sorry a scrap, of paper, a couple of dice and something to write with (if you want to play properly anyway). Even though it shouldn't be horrendously complicated, there does need to be an element of randomness in order to keep me amused. When you need to make a decision, simply click on the appropriate blue text. SO, whether you are sitting comfortably or not, we shall begin by trying this out:

Oooh...yes! Do it!
What a silly idea, take me back to the main page this instant
